| About Us |
Preemies For Africa (formerly SA Preemies) was started in February 2002 by Lavonne Prinsloo, with the idea of getting parents of premature babies to talk to one another via email.
Preemies For Africa is a non-profit organization, duly Incorporated as
an Association under article 21 of the Companies Act, and relies
on the support of donors and sponsors.
Preemies For Africa have seven members, which we refer to as
"Shareholders. The “Shareholders” appoint a Board of Directors
to run the company.
Please refer to our Detailed Business Plan, for a full
background story on Preemies For Africa and a breakdown of
“Shareholders”, and the current board of directors.
There is much work to be done! See our
Business Plan and please
contact us if you can help in any way! Our new more detailed
Business Plan will be available soon.
